High energy concentration
The calorific value of pellets is 4.5 kW/kg. This indicator is comparable to coal and is 1.6 times higher than that of wood.
Burning 1,000 kg of husk pellets releases the same amount of heat energy as burning 685 litres of fuel oil, 500 litres of diesel fuel, 479 m³ of natural gas or 1,600 kg of wood.
Safe and environmentally friendly fuel
Fuel pellets and briquettes are a safe and environmentally friendly type of fuel, the combustion of which releases the same amount of CO2 as the natural decomposition of the biomass used to produce it. The production of pellets and briquettes consists only of pressing sunflower husks under high pressure without the addition of chemical additives.
Automated combustion process
The design features of the furnaces allow the combustion process to be automated.
Storage conditions
Storage conditions are an undeniable advantage. Pellets and briquettes have low flammability, which means that this material can be stored in close proximity to heating appliances. Since they do not absorb moisture, their ability to give off heat does not decrease over time, and they do not require special storage conditions.
